Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew the poster has a feint pink bleed at the lower centre border from the reverse but is otherwise quite a clean example with no pinholes for a difficult poster to find in excellent condition

1980 brought us "The Long Riders" and 1982 "48 Hours" - in- between times Director Walter Hill was not sunbathing

Escape From Alcatraz folded The origin of the SpeciesThe printed signature of the artist Birney Lettick appears at the bottom left and his attention to detail includes a haunting image of the prison at Alcatraz together with a determined look on the face of Clint Eastwood who plays the part of Frank Morris in this true story. The statement at the top "No one has ever escape from Alcatraz and no one ever will." Is of course proved not entirely correct and director Don Siegel draws superb performances
