This lovely old British quad film poster has survived since 1947 and features a beautiful Martha Vickers dressed in a very short skirt for the time with matching heeled shoes and similar coloured love hearts

Censorship at the time was by endorsement with the Advertising Viewing Committee and Chantrell seems to have stretched the rules to the limit here for this X cert

The poster refers us to 2001: A Space Odyssey the Kubrick classic film that begins with cavemen

Great to see the unusual faces on the playing cards and the over the shoulder shot without looking! Please note there is a hole in the poster as seen extending from the gun butt through the collar of the character at the top right. We love the skull complete with bullet hole on the ace of diamonds. This poster would make a great gift for the gambler who has everything.
