This is much deeper and richer in dark cherry mode than the Hautes Ctes de Nuits. Very striking, with a pleasing freshness at the back. Cheerful, exuberant, juicy with a drier note from good tannins. The fruit comes storming back behind, exceptionally long, morello cherry with a thread of more mineral red fruit.
