They consist of very fine, pure silver wire woven together with a simple hand tool that resembles tweezers. After the wires are woven, the band of silver is then flattened with birch wood, the last step in a meticulous process which originates in the Black Sea region of Turkey. The thin Pontic Earrings are an updated version of our more traditional but glam Pontic Earrings. Made in Turkey.
