Emitt Rhodes first came to prominence with the US sixties group The Merry Go Round who made one self titled album for A&M Records in 1967. To the extent that he is known at all, Emitt is usually described as a "lost" treasure for fans of beautifully crafted, melodic pop. This set features American Dream, his debut solo album eponymously titled Emitt Rhodes, Mirror, Farewell To Paradise plus the non album single "Tame The Lion". Billboard
