The same cloth pictured caused much humour among the technicians on the first day of filming (first take, first scene) as "Jane" lifted "Tarzan" from lying to sitting position. Terry could not understand the laughter as he didn't think the dialogue was that funny until he realised at the end of the scene that the leather loin cloth was revealing
