Caption: The Main Ditch (two views) Water was brought in from the Tombstone Mountains about seventy miles away through open ditch, wooden flume, and steel pipe and carried, by an "inverted siphon [sic]", across the Klondike River Valley, to Jackson Gulch and up Bonanza Creek to mines there.
