Overall, the data corresponding to blood GSH measurement appear strong and indicate the possibility of considering glutathione as a general biomarker of SZ, whereas no substantial evidence emerges from the reported studies about its precise correlation with severity, stage or phenotype symptoms (i.e.: SZ deficit or non-deficit conditions that are characterized by negative and positive symptoms, respectively)
