Ripe, expressive mulberry and pomegranate aromas, as well as a suggestion of oyster shells. In the mouth, it is soft, silky and succulent yet dry and savoury. Absolutely delicious, and ready to drink now or over the next 4 5 years. A bargain from Margaux Third Growth, Chateau d'Issan from vineyards contiguous with the Margaux estate, but close to the Gironde.
