Yorkshire Button Kit by Gina B Silkworks Flowers Little Birds by Ana MallahDespite the name, there is no evidence of an historic industry or tradition in Yorkshire regarding this button making technique. In fact, making this type of button using a homemade template or loom seems to have appeared in the 1980s or so a relative newcomer. Gina B Silkworks then developed these looms into a graduated set of reusable tools, to create the original Yorkshire Button Kit, produced in a range of styles and sizes as well as creating
