Redfield Apple Tree Storage_2 to3 Weeks " One of the favoritesUSDA Certified Organic The Redfield apple tree was developed from a 1938 cross done at the New York Agricultural Experiment Station Geneva, New York, between Wolf River apples and Niedwetzkyana apples. The Redfield apple is pink to dark red skin with some russetting, and inside, dark, slightly dry red flesh. The Redfield apple is not ideal for fresh eating, but great baking, cider, vinegar and jelly. The Redfield has especially high amount of pectin.
