It is coated with gold, red, black, and yellow lacquer and made with wood (main body) and resin (legs and gold fringe pieces). The front side is all gold with small chrysanthemums. While it appears that the top panel can be removed (this is usually the case), the previous owner has adhered the pieces together. In the case
